Richard “Big Daddy” Gregory passed away suddenly, April 18, at the age of 55, in French Camp, Calif.
Richard balanced his love and devotion to family and friends with his passion for all things Harley. He will be remembered, always, as a kind, friendly, outgoing and happy man — an “awesome husband, great dad, loving papa, son and brother.”

After graduation from high school, Richard proudly served from 1974 to 1980 in the U.S. Army including during the Vietnam War. He returned home to Milpitas, where he met and married his wife, Shawn Hassey. Richard and family moved to the Central Valley in 1989 before retiring in Arizona in 2004.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Shawn; his mother, Judy Gregory, of Modesto; daughters, Tawnya Galvan, of Turlock, and Cassidy Gregory, of Manteca; brother, Dale Gregory and wife, Karen, of Boulder Creek; sister, Karen Lynas, of Modesto; one uncle; two aunts, four grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Leon Gregory.
