The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 1, 1961 Austin Douthart Funeral Saturday Funeral services for Austin R. Douthart will be conducted in the Wickenburg Chapel at 6:30 p. m. tomorrow (Saturday) with the Rev. Robert Jenkins, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Douthart died in Community Hospital at 4 a. m. Wednesday afternoon an illness of two and one-half years. Born in Pratt, Kan., December 15, 1888, Mr. Doughart spent many years as an employee of the Emporia, Kan., telephone company. He moved to Wickenburg in 1946 and worked at the Monte Vista Ranch. He later moved to Topeka and returned again to Wickenburg in 1950. Surviving are the widow, Emma Cobb Douthart, to whom he was married in Emporia in 1922; one son, Robert of Wickenburg; and four daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Whitehead of Wickenburg, Mrs. Inez Morris of Pratt, Kan., Mrs. Susan Gore of Sawyer, Kan., and Mrs. Georgia McCurdy of Marysville, Kan.
