FALL OFF TRUCK PROVES FATAL
William Henry Farmer, age 32, formerly of Globe and Coolidge, Died early Friday morning of injuries suffered when he feel from a truck near Desert View Station Thursday morning.
Byron L. Blackburn, state highway patrolman, said investigation indicated that Farmer fell while asleep from a truck driven by F. W. Smithart, Coolidge, as the machine rounded a sharp curve.
A resident of Arizona 10 years, Farmer was a native of Greenville, S.C. He is survived by his wife and a 9-year-old-son, William Lee, of Gisela; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Farmer of Greenville, and three sisters, Mrs. George Ellis of Miami, Mrs. Edna Nelson of Greenville and Mrs. F. M. Watts of Shreveport, La.
Mrs. George Ellis of Miami came here early Friday morning to be near her brother, but arrived only a few moments before his death.
Funeral arrangements will be completed upon the arrival of his relatives from out of state.
