MRS. MARY MASSE,AGUILA SUMMONED
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Mary Masse, a long-time resident of Aguila, who passed away Thursday evening at 6:30 o’clock at the Wickenburg hospital.
Father Lawrence Sullivan pronounced the Libera at St. Anthony’s Catholic church, Wickenburg at 1 p.m. Mrs. Anne Burke of Hollywood, sang “Pray for the Dead.” The remains were taken to the home Aguila where they lay in state until 2 o’clock. Burial was in the Aguila cemetery.
Surviving are four sons, George and John Violetta of Aguila; Joe Violetta of St. Louis, Mo., and Pete Masse, now stationed at Fort Custer, Michigan. A daughter, Rose Violetta, lives in San Francisco. Pete Masse, who was summoned from Fort Custer, arrived Friday night; Rose Violetta Saturday and Joe Violetta on Monday.
