The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 12, 1944, p. 1 SHUTTLEWORTH BURIAL WILL BE HERE FRIDAY The body of Thelma Wilson Shuttleworth will be brought to Wickenburg for burial in the cemetery here Friday afternoon at 4 o’clock. The final rites will be pronounced by Rev. J. D. Rothwell and Rev. Robert Turner, both of Phoenix. Mrs. Shuttleworth passed away Monday morning at her home in Phoenix after an illness of four months. She was the niece of Mrs. Eula Wentworth, Wickenburg, and taught school here in 1928. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Wilson formerly resided here. Born in Wenden, Mrs. Shuttleworth was educated in Phoenix schools and received her bachelor of education degree at Arizona State Teachers College at Tempe. She also taught in the school of Scottsdale and Parker. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the A. L. Moore funeral home in Phoenix. Besides her husband and parents, she is also survived by a brother Kenneth, of Phoenix.
