Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Thursday, May 05, 2011 Benjamin Keith, 50, died May 1, 2011, in Tuba City. He was born April 12, 1961, in Fort Defiance. His clan was Tabaaha born for Maiideeshgeezhnii. He graduated from Window Rock High School in 1979. Mr. Keith worked for NTUA, Fort Defiance, Nevada Power Company in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nev., and Arizona Public Service in Tuba City and Casa Grande. He enjoyed riding in motorcycle rallies including Sturgis, Riverton, Iron Horse Rally and others. He also enjoyed elk and deer hunting with family and friends. Mr. Keith is survived by his wife, Tanya Gorman Keith of Flagstaff; sons Lydell Keith of Shiprock and Garron Ketih of Shiprock; brother Dennis Keith Jr.; sisters Emma Keith, Emeline Keith, Darlene Roan, Wanda Keith, Marjorie Wilson, Martha Yazzie, Cynthia Wauneka, Loretta Wauneka and Dyanna Wauneka; mother Margaret Keith; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Keith, and grandmother Elizabeth N. Wauneka. Services and burial were held May 5 at the T"oa'be family plot west of Crystal, N.M.
