SHELLGAARD, Adele Astrid

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 05, 2011 Adele Astrid Shellgaard went to be with the Lord, Jesus, on May 4, 2011. She was born Aug. 20, 1911, to William and Ida Anderson in Hoquiam, Wash. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Shellgaard, the love of her life; her brother, Arnold Anderson; and sister Barbara Evelyn Scott. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Thompson; grandchildren Scott, Jay, Meg; and one great-grandson, Sterling. She is also survived by her nephew, Douglas (Doris) Scott of Mayer, Ariz., and their children, Joshua, Edward, Hugh and Jennifer, as well as their 15 grandchildren. Services will be on Monday, May 9, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery located in Cave Creek, Phoenix, Ariz. For directions, call Heritage Memory Mortuary at 928-445-1881.
