STEVENS, Wayne Harold

Wayne Harold Stevens born September 24, 1936 in Tekamah, Nebraska passed away on May 3, 2011 at his daughter, Donnas home in Tucson, AZ. Wayne was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1998, he endured his illness with dignity and strength. A decorated Vietnam Veteran he proudly served our country for over 22 years with the US Air Force and retired in 1979. Widowed in 1999 from his beloved wife, Lucille Kay Stevens. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Newell, Stella Forrey, Ellen Tomlinson and Bridget Thom; grandchildren, Camron Newell, Christopher Newell, Colin Jarkowski, Jillian Jarkowski, Jacob Thom, Jared Thom, Erin Tomlinson and great-grandson, Cain Newell. You will always live in our hearts. A Service with full military honors will be held at St. David Cemetery, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to RICHARDSONS MORTUARY
