Mervin Peterson, 87, Platte, died Friday, April 22, at Platte Care Center.

Survivors include a son, Douglas Peterson, Platte; and five daughters, Paula Nelson, Geddes, Jacqueline Sly, Rapid City, Connie Wagner, Wickenburg, Ariz., Cheri Van Gorp, Stickney, and Trudy Qualm, Platte.

Prayer services will be at 7pm CDT Monday, April 25, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Platte.

Services will be at 10:30am Tuesday, April 26, at the church. Committal services will follow at Platte City Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to Helping Hands Food Pantry.

Mount Funeral Home in Platte is in charge of the arrangements.
