Barbara (Barb) Diane Paris passed away peacefully with her family by her side April 16, 2011. She was 76 years old. Barbara was born in 1935, in Los Angeles, to Patrick and Mary Hold, and she attended Washington High School.
Barbara was the proud mother of four children. She never missed their sports activities or school events and was always very supportive in everything they did. In 1989, she married Albert and welcomed two stepchildren, David and Dennis.
Barbara and Albert moved in 1993 to Lake Havasu, where they enjoyed the “retirement life.” She enjoyed going to the movies, out with friends, but most of all was her love of bowling. Barbara bowled in two different leagues and was actively involved in the bowling league committee, serving as league president for many years. She was always so full of life, she had so much love to offer and with that, had many friends. She had such a witty personality with a knack for making people laugh.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, Albert; her four children, Mike, Steven, Sandy, Lesli; and her stepson, David; Her grandsons, Benjamin, Michael, Trevor, Allen and Dave; her two Yorkies, Lucy and Tank; and her brother, Bill; and sister, Pat.
A “Celebration of Life” will take place at a later date. For anyone interested in attending, please e-mail lbandurraga@hotmail.com.
