KEARNES, Phyllis Ann

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, May 7, 2011 - Phyllis Ann Kearnes, 86, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011, in Lake Havasu City. She was born April 4, 1925, in Pittsburgh to Earl and Myrtle Kearnes. Phyllis had many hobbies, including playing cards, Bingo, traveling, word-search puzzles and reading. She also enjoyed boating as a youngster. In her younger years, Phyllis worked as a mail clerk. She will be deeply missed and always loved. Her great-niece and nephew, Kim Ross and Roger Cunningham, of Lake Havasu City; nephew and nieces, Garry Kearnes, Pam Curran and Mary Corsaro, and their children survive Phyllis. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Celmer Kearnes; and sister, Miriam Cunningham. Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary and Crematory.
