Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 22, 1966, p. 2 DEATH OF GENERAL MURROW LEARNED Brigadier General Lacey Van Buren Murrow of the U.S. Air Force, Retired, who died in Baltimore, Md., last week, was known in Wickenburg. He and Mrs Murrow bought a winter home in the neighborhood of the Lazy Fox Ranch a number of years ago. It is now the property of Mrs Harry Steele of California, formerly of Wickenburg. Gen. Murrow, brother of the last newscaster Edward R. Murrow, was 62 years of age. He logged more than 4,000 hours of flying in U.S. bombers during World War II and received many decorations.
