Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 29, 1966 Long-Time Rancher Dies Here Services for Claude West McGehee, 77, who died Monday, Dec. 26, of a heart attack in his home on the Vulture Mine Road, were held at 2 p.m. in the Wickenburg Chapel Wednesday, Dec. 28. Interment was in Peeples Valley Cemetery. Mr. McGehee, well known in ranching circles, was a life member of the Arizona Cattle Growers Association. He had owned ranches in Wickenburg, Phoenix, Elgin, Willcox and Aguila. He came to Arizona 60 years ago, moving to Wickenburg 26 years. He and his wife, Ottilia, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr McGehee is survived by his wife; a son, James of Wickenburg; a daughter, Mrs Dorothy Drago of Prescott; four brothers and four sisters, all out of state, and six grandchildren.
