The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 13, 2008 Dickie Joe Sheets, 51, of Peoria, Ariz., died Sunday (April 6, 2008) at Arrowhead Hospital emergency room. Mr. Sheets was born August 9, 1956 in Kankakee, Ill., the son of Marion M. Hartman and Willis T. Sheets. He moved to Arizona 11 years ago and was owner of Carpet Corner of Sun City, a successful floor covering business. Services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 3:00 pm in Westbrook Village at the Vista's, 18825 N. Country Club Pkwy, Peoria, Ariz. Cremation rites have been accorded by Best Funeral Services. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Vickie & Raymond Edwards of El Mirage, Ariz., his great nephew, Thomas Roberts of Burnet, Texas, his 3 beloved boys, Pete, Repete & PeeWee, and fiance, Jodi Weifenbach, his parents, brother Rickie Sheets, and favorite nephew, Chad Edwards, are deceased.
