Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, May 11, 2011 Jean J. Crowe, of Flagstaff, died peacefully April 21, 2011. She was born Sept. 21, 1927, in New York, N.Y., to Eduard and Dorothy Jahnke. She lived independently, in her own home, for almost 40 years. She graduated from high school in Queens Village, N.Y. She was married in 1950 and moved to Mount Fern, N.J., where she lovingly raised her three children. She retired from Warner Lambert Pharmaceuticals and moved to Southern California. After 12 years, Mrs. Crowe moved to Flagstaff to be near her daughter. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her interests included travel, reading, shopping and in her later years, crossword puzzles and caring for her pets. Mrs. Crowe is survived by her son, Tom Crowe, of Canyon Country, Calif.; her daughter, Donna (John) Morgan, of Flagstaff; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; her sister, Vera; and daughter Cindy. A service will be held privately in Flagstaff and New Jersey.
