Wade O. Thurlo, age 83, of Miami, Ariz. passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011, surrounded by his loving family, at Faubush Family Home in Globe, Ariz. He was born in Miami, Ariz. on Oct. 25, 1927, the son of Orval (Beeman) and Wade Thurlo.  

Wade proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from Pinto Valley after 30 years as a maintenance supervisor and was a member of the Globe-Miami Gun Club and a member of the Elks for 60 years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing western music with his band.

Wade leaves behind in loving memory his wife of 63 years, Doreen Cranswick Thurlo of Miami, Ariz.; one son, Steve Thurlo of Cottonwood, Ariz.; one daughter, Nancy (Marc) Moul of Globe, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Jared and Travis and three great-grandchildren.

Private family services were held at Miles Funeral Services Miami Chapel.
