Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from May 11 to May 18, 2011 - Leonard Olson, age 89, A 30-year resident of Bullhead City, died Monday, May 2, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz. Leonard was born May 11, 1921, in Los Angeles, Calif. He served in World War II as a Navy Pilot. He was a pioneer in the self-service laundry business, opening his first laundry in Los Angeles in 1955. He owned and operated Riviera Laundry in Bullhead City and Valley Laundry & Dry Cleaners in Fort Mohave. He was truly a pioneer with the future always in mind. Leonard is survived by one daughter, Laura Edgar and one son, Melvin Olson, both of Bullhead City, Ariz. Private cremation services were held.
