The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 29, 1960, p. 3 Oregon Rites for Mrs Mabel Wyatt Funeral services were held in Portland, Ore., Monday afternoon for Mrs Mabel M. Wyatt of Wickenburg, mother of Mrs Dick Hornecker. Services were conducted by Dr Alvin Tiffin, pastor of the Central Christian Church, and the Eastern Star. Burial was in Rose City Cemetery there. Mrs Wyatt died suddenly early Thursday morning of last week of a heart attack in the home of her daughter where she had been staying for the past few days. She had been living at the Desert Cypress Trailer Ranch since coming here last July. She was born June 1, 1883 in Butterville, Ind., but had lived most of her life in Oregon. Mr Wyatt died many years ago. Mrs Hornecker was her only child. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs Delia Stephenson of Everett, Wash., and Mrs Ada Olphdest of Houston, Teas; two brothers, H. C. Morris of Sarasota, Fla.; and Merle Morris of Tacoma, Wash.; and two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Joan Hornecker of Wickenburg. Mrs Hornecker went to Portland to be present at the funeral services.
