The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Saturday, May 07, 2011 Bob C. Justus, 89, passed away on May 4, 2011. He was born on November 29, 1921 in Clinton, OK. Bob worked as an APS lineman, core sample driller for U.S. Geological Survey and the Camp Verde Post Office. He enjoyed country dancing, gold panning and prospecting. He met everyone with a smile and never knew a stranger. He is survived by his son Rob Justus (Marianne), son Bobby Justus (Maureen), daughter Tina McGrue (Jay), daughter Brenda Burleson, sister Pauline Howerton, and brother Harley Justus (Laverne). He had nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 1:00pm at Verde Baptist Church in Cottonwood. Family & friends are welcome.
