Our Beautiful Precious Princess" Larnell Ahyiesha Quintero, "New-News", 5, of Whiteriver went home to be with our heavenly father May 5, 2011, in Whiteriver.
She was born March 8, 2006 at 6:54 p.m. to Maxine Antonio and LarNardo Quintero weighing 8 pounds, 6.8 ounces in Whiteriver.
Larnell loved to talk and ask a lot of questions, she was a very curious little girl that loved being with her mother and family. While being on earth this sort time, she had numerous nicknames as Nell, Baby Girl, Nell-Nell, Princess, New-News, Bulldog, and Ah'zu'nag' meaning Cute. She loved Justin Bieber and the Princess characters. Larnell was so excited to be starting kindergarten in the fall. We miss and love you always and forever New-News.
Larnell is survived by her parents, Maxine Antonio and LarNardo Quintero; baby brother Maxiell Antonio; maternal grandparents Ernestine B. and Bryan Baha; paternal grandparents Joann Garland and Larry Quintero; great-grandparents Beulah and Alvin Thompson of Whiteriver, Jake and Rita Bancroft of Tuba City, Larry and Edna James of Whiteriver, Francis Antonio, and Victor Larzelere; grandmothers: Merceline Dazen, Christine Bancroft, Berlinda Williams, Georgianna Garland, Glorianna Garland; grandfathers: Johnathan James, Augustine Bancroft, Alverson Thompson, Gibson Garland, Gabriel Garland Jr., Virgil Larzelere; aunts: Francine Antonio, Davionna Antonio, Teri Lee Foster, Jericka Naha, Shantaya Garland, Sutero Quintero; uncles: Davison Antonio, Elias Paxson, Malachi Paxson, John Quintero, Jericho Naha, Jess Garland; godparents Alex and Mary Tortice; god sisters: Anaya Tortice, Jesusita Tortice; and numerous relatives from Whiteriver, Tuba City, Salt River, San Carlos, Farmington, Flagstaff, Ship Rock, and Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her great-great-great-grandparents: Minnie and Peter James; great-grandmothers: Betty Antonio, Laree Larzelere; and grandfather Davis Antonio.
A two night wake will be held at her residence (Dark Shadow House #155) in Whiteriver starting at 10 a.m. Friday, May 13. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at the North Fork Miracle Church with Pastor Lex Baha officiating. Interment will be at the Golden Gorge View Cemetery in North Fork.
