Ohio Rites For George Bechtolt
Funeral services for George T. Bechtolt were held in the Mount Washington Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, O., Wednesday with burial following in that city. Mr Bechtolt, who with his wife owned and operated the Ranch & Town Shop on the California Highway, died suddenly at 10:30 p.m. Friday of last week at his home here following a heart attack.
He was born July 7, 1892, in Litchfield, Neb. For 20 years he was with the Philip Carey Co. of Cincinnati, manufacturers of asbestos building materials. Then for four years he was advertising director of the Cincinnati Inquirer. He and Mrs Bechtolt came to Wickenburg in June, 1951, and opened their store October 20 of that same year.
Surviving, in addition to the widow, are a daughter, Mrs. Edward H. Jones of Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Barbara and Catherine Jones, also of Cincinnati; two brothers, James and Ervin of Monroe, Wis.; and two sisters, Mrs Fred Maurer of Libby, Mont., and Mrs Homer Elliott of Luck, Wis.
