Strieby of Yarnell, former Wickenburg resident, were held Monday afternoon in the Wickenburg Chapel with the Rev. Scott Siegel of Yarnell officiating. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery with members of the Hassayampa Lodge No. 37, F. & A. M., conducting graveside rites. Mr Strieby, who was 74 years old, died unexpectedly at his home in Yarnell February 11. A native of Illinois, Mr Strieby had lived for many years in Kansas. He and Mrs Streiby came to Arizona in 1945 and resided in Casa Grande before moving to Wickenburg. They had lived in Yarnell since 1956. Mr Strieby was active in Masonic work and had served as Past Master, Past High Priest and Past Worthy Patron. Surviving are the widow, Avis; one daughter, Mrs Louis Maurer of Phoenix; one son, Glenn Strieby of Appleton, Wis.; three sisters, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
