The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, May 14, 2011 Marjorie P. Sloan, 95, of Peaceful Valley Adult Care Home, Prescott, Ariz., died Friday evening, April 29, 2011. She was born July 14, 1915, in Pittsfield, Ill., the daughter of James Henry and Elizabeth Saunders Ayers. She was preceded in death by her husband Clay V. Sloan in 1974, parents and one sister. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Paul) Cottrell of Spokane, Wash.; and a son, Terry (Karen) Sloan of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; and two grandsons, Mark Cottrell (Roberta) of Idaho and Jeff Cottrell of Washington. There will be a private graveside service for family, at a later date, at Paradise Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Good Samaritan Society, Prescott Samaritan Village, 1030 Scott Drive, Prescott, AZ 86301, Attention Deb W.
