William Bednar, 69, passed away suddenly at his home in Lake Havasu City May 4, 2011. He built his home and has lived here for 14 years. He was born March 6, 1942, in Cle Elum, Wash., and attended school there. He was employed at the Boeing Company in Seattle, Wash., for 28 years as an electric engineer and management. He took an early retirement from Boeing early because of poor health.
 
Burial was a Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens in Mohave Valley, May 10, 2011. He leaves behind his mother, Irene Bednar, of Lake Havasu City; and a half sister, Melinda Bednar of Cle Elum, Wash., and many cousins.
