NEWMASTER, Kenneth

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 1, 1997 Kenneth Newmaster of Cottonwood, and formerly of Wickenburg and Congress, died Dec. 23. He was 88. Mr. Newmaster was born in Coffeyville, Kan. in 1908. He moved to California in 1931, retiring in 1979 and moving to Arizona. He first lived in Prescott, then relocated to the Wickenburg-Congress area until 1994 when he moved to Cottonwood. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Hope, of Cottonwood; sons Doug and Jim of Montana; sister, Gertrude Root of Missouri; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Muriel. Services have been held in Auburn, Calif.
