Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Obituary Carl Douglas Murphy As we rejoice in the fact that he is with our Lord and Savior, the family of Carl Douglas Murphy, with sad hearts, announce his death on May 17th, 2011. Born in Ada, Oklahoma on December 7 , 1930. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Alice Murphy; his sister, Careen Murphy; and, his son, Douglas Murphy. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Murphy of Show Low; Sister, Frankie Hawkins of Midwest City, OK; Sister, Francis O'Grady of Seminole, OK; Brother, Orvel (Phyllis) Murphy of Okmulgee, OK; Children: David (Linda) Murphy of Phoenix; Son, Dan Murphy of Lancaster, CA; Daughter, Cyndie (Jeff) Hilbert of Dana Point, CA; Daughter, Caryn Murphy of Pinetop; Son, Craig Murphy of Show Low; Son, Casey Murphy of Show Low; Sixteen Grandchildren: Carl Murphy; Joy Murphy; Bree Murphy; Taylor Murphy; Joshua Murphy; Katie O'Dell; Kris Murphy; jennifer Murphy; Scott Murphy; Cristal Murphy; Jessica Murphy; Cody Murphy; Cassey Murphy; Marlen Murphy; Kaitlyn Murphy; Camryn Murphy; Eight Great Grandchildren; and his loving dog, Doodles. Carl was a member of First Baptist Church of Show Low. Prior to retiring in 2001, Carl was the owner of South Fork Guest Ranch and The Murphy True Value Stores in Springerville and Lakeside. We would be honored to have you join us at a memorial service on June 18, 2011 to celebrate a man that made a difference in our lives and in our community. The services will be held at 1:00p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Show Low. ln lieu of flowers,the family requests donations be made in Carl's memory to "Feeding the Hungry", First Baptist Church of Show Low,700 N.
