ADAMS, Peter Alden


Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from May 18 to May 25, 2011 - Peter Alden Adams, age 74, a 43-year resident of Antelope Valley, Calif., died Saturday, May 14, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz., of natural causes. Peter was born on August 21, 1936, in Hanover, N.H. He graduated from Avon Old Farms School in 1954, and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as an aircraft electrician in the Marines from 1954 until 1964. Upon leaving the Marines, Peter worked as an aircraft electrician for several aircraft companies over the next 24 years, working on many aircraft including the Lockheed L-1011 and SR-71, the Rockwell B-1A Bomber and the Space Shuttle, and worked his way from a production line electrician to Manufacturing Supervisor. Peter was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the National Rifle Association, the Loyal Order of the Moose, and the United States Bowling Congress. Peter is survived by his companion and love, Eunice Moussette of Palmdale, Calif.; his son, Timothy A. Adams of Chesapeake, Va.; his daughter, Kelly Moiser of Bakersfield, Calif., a step-daughter and step-son; eight granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2011, and from 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m., on Friday, May 20, 2011, at Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek Rd., Bullhead City. A burial service will be held at 1:20 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011, at Southern Nevada Veteran's Cemetery in Boulder, Nevada. Arrangements are under the care of Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel.
