The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ December 10, 2006 Diane L. Hopper, 64, of Cottonwood, died Dec. 7, 2006, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, Pa. Born in Wind Gap, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Paul and Thelma (Powell) Dodendorf. She was the wife of Earl W. Hopper. They would have observed their 49th wedding anniversary on Dec. 21. Mrs. Hopper was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Earl Hopper Jr. (Glenna) of Missouri, and Lynn Hopper (Dorinda) of Arizona; a brother Llewelen Dodendorf of Arizona; two sisters, Janice Wager and Shelby Fleming, both of Arizona; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter Keira Hopper. Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place in the H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, Pa. The Kresge Funeral Home, Route 209 Brodheadsville, Pa., is in charge of the arrangements.
