DRURY, Frances C.

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Tuesday, May 24, 2011 Frances C. Drury born on July 28, 1927 passed on to her new home in a peaceful and restful manner on May 17, 2011. She is survived by her children Maryanne Fleming, Michael A. Wilken, Lawrence A. Wilken, Cynthia L. Ahart and Richard V. Drury. She also has many grandchildren and great-children. She was a long time resident of Rimrock with her greatest gift of relentless, unselfish service to the community. She was active in Kiwanis, serving as lieutenant Governor and working at the Lake Montezuma Adult Center for many years. This included organizing food drives and other vital community service. She will be greatly missed as that “little fire cracker, Fran.” Services were held May 24 at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church, 3705 E. Beaver Creek Rd, Rimrock at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kiwanis or House of Ruth. Information provided by family members. Information provided by survivors.
