Lambert “Tomcat” T. Benally, age 53, of San Carlos, Ariz. passed away on May 22, 2011 at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was born in San Carlos, Ariz. on Oct. 10, 1957, the son of Loretta and Kee Benally, Sr.
Lambert was raised in San Carlos and graduated from Globe High School in 1976. He attended Mesa Community College and graduated from E.A.C. Gila Pueblo. He had worked as a carpenter for the Tribal Housing and for various construction projects.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, wood working and ceramics. He was an excellent baker, baking delicious cakes and pies.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Benally.
Lambert is survived by his daughters, Tasha Benally, Linette Benally-Avalos, Marlencia Benally, Keshia Benally and DeAnna Benally; his son, Benall Benally; his father, Kee Benally, Sr.; his brothers, Wilbur Benally, Sr., Daniel Benally, Bradley Benally, and Kee Benally, Jr.; his sisters, Matilda (Jay, Sr.) Johnson, Rachel Benally, and Laverne Natsyn; and his 11 grandchildren.
Wake will be on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the World Evangelism Revival Center.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the World Evangelism Revival Center.
Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery
Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
