The Daily Courier Prescott, Arizona June Evelyn Stamm June Evelyn Stamm, 84, passed away on February 27, 2007. She was the youngest of 9 children born to Laura and William Berger in Sunbury, Pa. June married her beloved husband, William (Bill) Stamm, in 1947. They moved to Prescott, Arizona, in 1964 and opened the Bird Cage Saloon on Whiskey Row. Bill preceded her in death in 2002. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful cook and loved trying new recipes and feeding everyone. She will be deeply missed and always remembered with love and respect. She is survived by her son, John and his wife Deb; daughter, Laura, and granddaughter, Sarah; son, Tom, and grandchildren, Ben and Dana; and great-grandson, William. Hampton Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements. (Information provided by survivors.)
