Manuel Inclan, 87, peacefully passed on to the Lord while surrounded by his loving family on July 5, 2003 in the comforts of his daughter's home in Henderson, Nevada. His endless love, service and dedication to his family; the way he lived his life with courage, strength, compassion and a great sense of humor will remain an inspiration to all that knew and loved him.
Manuel was born on December 10, 1915 in Havana, Cuba. In 1944, he married Lydia "Poocha" Francisca Riera. Manuel was a businessman in Havana until 1962, when he and his family fled from Cuba's new Communist government and moved to Portland, Oregon where he retired in 1980. After being a snowbird for several years, Manuel and Poocha moved to Glendale, Arizona in 1995 to be near their grandchildren. He enjoyed dominos, billiards, sports and exercising. Manuel's love of chocolate was legendary. We will all miss "Papi" very much. Manuel is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lydia Inclan, his 6 children Lydia Gwynn, Gloria Calderon, Manuel Inclan, Ernesto Inclan, Maria Willcox, and Mirtha Cullip, as well as 19 grandchildren, 6 of which reside in the Valley, Justin Willcox, Carmen Willcox, Brian Willcox, Kimberly Willcox, Alexandria Cullip, and Christopher Cullip.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10 at Palm Green Valley Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
