LEE, Doris

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, July 9, 2003 Doris Lee, a long time resident of Arizona died July 6, 2003 in Chandler, Arizona. She was 81 years young. Born in in Plainfield, Indiana, October 5, 1921. Survivors include three daughters, Sue Morris (Vernon), Karen Shannon (Mathew), Loretta Wolff; Two sons, Dan Lee (Sherry), and Harold Lee Jr.; One sister Elsie Arnold. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee, 1989, one great grandchild, her parents and three brothers. Doris is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She loved quilting and later in life became very active with the Ugly Quilts in Mesa. Doris will be greatly missed by all. Services July 10, 2003 at 10:00am with visitation one hour prior at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave, Phoenix. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 2222 S. Dobson #401, Mesa, AZ 85202.
