William Eugene Lamis passed away May 21, 2011, in Lake Havasu City, at age 58. He was born to William and Ardis (Ness) Lamis, June 27, 1952, in Los Angeles.
“Gene,” as he was known to his family, made Lake Havasu City his home 10 years ago from Torrance, Calif. He had a handyman business called “The Handyman Connection,” and he also had a bed and breakfast that he ran out of his home, “Bed, Boat & Beyond.” Gene loved all different types of food, reading, barbecuing, driving his boat and watching the sunrise. He put his heart and soul into remodeling his home, and his favorite hobby was building things in his garage.
Most importantly, Gene loved spending time with family and friends, and visiting his brother in Show Low and helping on the ranch. He also loved spending time with his nephew, Darby, in Lake Havasu City.
Gene leaves behind his beloved family, daughter, Kescia Lamis Gloria and her husband, George, of California; brothers, Richard, of Arizona, Roger, of Missouri, and Thomas; two sisters, Pat and Barbara, both of California; and grandchildren Christopher Gloria and Mariah Reese.
