Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from May 25 to June 1, 2011 - Sidney Daniel "Sid" Nerdahl, age 81, a 24-year resident of Bullhead City, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz. Sid was born April 17, 1930, in Fargo, North Dakota, the son of Sidney and Mildred Nerdahl. Sid was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. Sid is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn; three daughters, Sherry Marin of Bullhead City, Susan Page of Bullhead City, and Karen (John) Mahoney of Federal Way, Wash.; son, Joel (Rozlinda) of Ogden, Utah; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Sid was dearly loved, and will be missed by all that knew him. A memorial service for Sid will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2011, at St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1664 Central Avenue, Bullhead City, Ariz. Dr. Earl J. Pierce Pastor will preside over the service. Family and friends are welcome to come. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sid's name to St John Evangelical Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1664 Central Avenue Bullhead City, AZ 86442. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Desert Lawn Funeral Homes Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.
