The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 3, 1960, p. 4 George Warden Rites Pending Funeral services for George Warden were tentatively set for today (Friday) in the Wickenburg Chapel with Dr. Charles S. Poling officiating. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr Warden died in Community Hospital early Wednesday afternoon after a long illness. He was born July 27, 1904, in Sioux Falls, S.D. and was in the tile and flooring business there until he moved to Phoenix in 1949. He and Mrs Warden joined the Wickenburg Elementary School faculty as a fourth grade teacher. In addition to the widow, Mr Warden is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George Hofer and Mrs Arnold Cox, both of Sioux Falls, and Mrs Leslie Edmonds of Rapid City, S. D.; a sister, Miss Mildred Warden of Sioux Falls; and eight grandchildren. The sister has been in Wickenburg for the past two weeks.
