The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Sept. 16, 1960, p. 7 Man Is Killed In One-Car Accident Leandro Esquer, 64-year-old sheep herder who called Wickenburg his home even though he spent little time here, was killed in a one-car accident on Arizona 65 about 17½ miles south of Winslow Thursday morning of last week. Mr Esquer worked for Fermin Echeverria and often herded sheep on the Echeverria ranch near Aguila. He used the post office box of Mr & Mrs T. Pitaro as an address. As far as the Pitaros know, Mr Esquer was a single man and his only survivors are a brother in New Mexico and a sister in Spain. No information was available here as to funeral arrangements.
