The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 14, 1960, p. 3 ASU Student Is Killed In Auto Accident On 93 The fifth traffic fatality in the Wickenburg Patrol Area since January 1 occurred at approximately 10 p. m. last Saturday evening on Highway 93 just this side of the Santa Maria River bridge. Killed instantly was Diana Margaret Chase, 19, of Roswell, N. M., also an ASU student, was slightly injured and was admitted to Community Hospital here. According to Sgt. W. O. Dollar of the Highway Patrol, Miss Chase was driving toward Kingman at a high rate of speed when she came to a curve in the road, applied the brakes, skidded and lost control of the car which flipped over three times. Miss Chase was thrown from the car. Since the accident occurred in Yavapai County, Miss Chase's body was removed to Prescott and turned over to the medical examiner of that county. Highway Patrolman Bob Tshudy investigated the accident.
