Easley Services Friday Morning
Funeral services for William (Rod) Easley, vice-president and general manager of the Mohave Mining & Milling Co., will be held at 11 a. m. today (Friday) in the Wickenburg Chapel with the Rev. Dean McMann officiating. Burial will follow in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
Mr Easley was in Las Vegas on business last week when he suffered a heart attack at 1:15 a . m. Thursday in his hotel room. He was removed to the Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital in that city where he died at 2:30 a. m. Wednesday of this week.
Mr Easley was born in California July 30, 1907. he was an engineer with the Western Knapp Engineering firm of San Francisco for 18 years prior to coming to Wickenburg 5½ years ago to become associated with Mohave Mining & Milling Co. He and his family resided in Vista del Rio Estates.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs Jerry Easley; three children, Richard, a student at St. Michael's High School in Santa Fe, N. M., Lynne and Roderick; the mother, Mrs May Easley of San Mateo, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs Damon Jordan of Portland, Ore., and Mrs Alice Crump of San Mateo, Calif.
