DE NUNNO, Donald Francis, Jr.

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Wednesday, June 1, 2011 - Donald Francis De Nunno Jr., passed away May 26, 2011, in Anaheim, Calif., at age 49. He was born June 7, 1961, in Anaheim to Donald and Mellie (Gonzalez) De Nunno Sr. Don grew up in Anaheim, graduating from Magnolia High School. He owned and operated a mobile detail business and most recently did home repair and renovations. Don was an avid Dodgers and Lakers fan. He also was active in the men’s softball leagues and coached girl’s softball in Anaheim. Don mostly enjoyed helping others and was a true friend to many. Don is survived by his mother, Mellie De Nunno, of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Megan De Nunno, of Anaheim, Calif.; sisters, Donna De Nunno Morello, of Lake Havasu City, Erlinda Malechikos, of Huntington Beach, Calif., Celina De Nunno, of Lake Havasu City, and Malisa Courville, of Fullerton, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald F. De Nunno Sr., who passed away Aug. 24, 2007. A funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, with Father Chauncey Winkler offering words of comfort and inspiration.
