THACKER, Christopher Alan

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/03/2011 Christopher Alan Thacker was born June 14, 1977, in Tucson to Timothy Alan and Donna E. Thacker. He lived in Tucson until the age of 5 when the family moved to Eagar. Chris graduated from Round Valley High School. After graduating, he married Tiffany Bakeman and they had two children. After Chris and Tiffany divorced, he moved to Surprise, for a couple of years where he worked for Lowe's. He then moved to Grand Junction, Colo. and continued his work with Lowe's. Chris also worked with a highway paving company. He moved back to the Round Valley area several years ago and lived in South Fork with his father. Chris became ill with a leg infection that required intensive treatment so he was transferred to a Valley hospital. He lost his battle with this illness and died May 20, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Phoenix. Chris is survived by his father, Timothy A. Thacker; brother Steven R. Thacker; daughter Chelsea Coleen Thacker; son Timothy William Thacker; grandmother Jean LePerle; and grandfather Glendon D. Thacker. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna E. Thacker, and stepmother Georgia Cardona. Chris will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
