William ‘Bill' Savage, 84, resident of Lakeside for 20 years, died May 21, 2011 in Apache Junction of natural causes. He was born Oct. 2, 1926, in Safford. 

Bill was a graduate of Colorado State University. He served his country and was discharged honorably from the United States Navy. He worked as an educator and coach for 40 years at Gilbert High School.

He is survived by loving spouse of Lakeside; and four children.

Memorial service to be announced.
