The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/03/2011 Fernith Isaacson Saporiti passed from this life March 3, 2011. She was born Jan. 26,1919, in St. Johns, the only daughter of Myrtle Ivy Whiting and Archibald Isaacson. Always cheerful and pleasant, Fernith enjoyed visits from her many neighbors and friends and family. The phase "each life that touches ours for good" was felt by all who knew Fernith. "We all felt uplifted and encouraged by her energy and sweet words." She was not one to complain and was appreciative of every little act of service performed for her. She will be missed. She was laid to rest March 7, in the St. Johns Westside Cemetery, next to her husband, Angelo, who proceeded her in death 47 years ago and two of her children, Carla and Charles. Her two surviving children are Lou Anne Saporiti White and Kathy Saporiti Callister. Fernith was the last of the Isaacson siblings- Demar, Raymond and Leonard. Leonard's widow, Armitta Gibbons Isaacson, is the only member of that generation still living. Nieces Pam Conant and Sharon Crosby, and nephews Ken and Bryan Isaacson attended Fernith's funeral services in Glendora, Calif.
