Darwin Randolf ‘Randy' Smith, 73, died May 30, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born Nov. 12, 1937 in Seattle, Wash.

Randy worked as an inspector in Las Vegas for 24 years. He retired from Converse Consultants in 2010. After a six month battle with lung cancer, Randy passed away in his home with his chlidren.

He is survived by his sister, Adeline Taylor; children: Ray and Stephanie Smith, Vance and Jennifer Smith, Dallas Smith, Misti Smith and Heather Saunders; and his grandchildren: Clay, Destini, Dustin, Cheyenne, Courtney and Chance.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, at Desert Memorial, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89101. A viewing will be held from 1-3 p.m., service at 3 p.m., repast immediately following at 140 Siddall Ave. in Las Vegas, Nev.
