Myrna Rae Carnes Bingham passed away on April 6, 2004. She was 68. Myrna was born in Eagar to Earl and Lois Carnes on January 15, 1936. The family moved to Safford when she was three.
Mynra attended Safford High School and was the first member of her family to receive a high school education.
She married Richard (Dick) Bingham in Tucson on February 4, 1955. They made their home in Safford where Dick was employed by Bingham Transfer, and later by the State of Arizona as a Deputy State Fire Marshall. Myrna worked at Thriftee Market for many years.
She was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Myrna is survived by her husband Dick, daughters Brenda (Dan) Moat of Miami, Darlene (Tim) Taylor of Safford; son Scott (Jolee) Bingham of Safford; sister Helen Hardwick of Safford. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Kyle Bingham (Belinda), Stacey Tilley (Benny), Devon Bingham, Richie Taylor, Tanner Bingham, Chris Taylor, Mitch Taylor and Keely Bingham; and five great-grandchildren: Nathan Tilley, Sammy Tilley, Jayden Tilley, Sarah Bingham and Kaylee Bingham. She is also survived by her baby Schatzie.
Services were held on Saturday, April 10. Arrangements were entrusted to Bunker's Caldwell Chapel.
