Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Friday, October 16, 1942, p 1:5 Funeral services will be conducted at the Wickenburg Chapel at 2pm Saturday by the Rev Ross Cleeland for Charles Arnold Elms, 9 year old son of Arnold Elms of the Vulture Mine who was killed Wednesday morning when he fell from his bicycle under the wheels of a mine truck being driven by Bud Stewart. The accident occured when the Elms boy and a companion, both on bicycles, started to pass the truck. The companion, who was in the lead, suddenly braked his wheel. The Elms boy crashed into the back of the lead bicycle and fell under the wheels of the truck, the patrol reported. The boy died en route to the hospital. H L Coffinger is in charge of funeral arrangements and interment will be made in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
