The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 2, 1962 Granville Borden, Mining Man, Dies Granville S. Borden of Piedmont, Calif., who served as vice-president of the now liquidated Mohave Mining & Milling Co., died in his sleep at a local motel Sunday night. He was found by A. L. Pate, one of his mining associates, who came here Monday morning from Phoenix for a conference. Since the closing of Mohave Mining & Milling Co., Mr Borden had an interest in gold exploration in the Morristown area. Before his active work in the mining business he was an official of the standard Oil Co., of California. He and Mrs Borden had been frequent Wickenburg visitors for the past eight years. The body was removed to A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary in Phoenix.
