H. L. Underdown Rites Wednesday

Henry Lee Underdown, 90, father of Perry Underdown died in a rest home last Sunday. Funeral services were held at the Arizona Funeral Home in Phoenix Wednesday afternoon with burial in the Resthaven Cemetery at Glendale.

Born February 23, 1872, Harrison, Ark., Mr Underdown moved to Arizona in 1917 and was a farmer and rancher in Laveen, Higley, Buckeye and Chino Valley until he retired in 1947. He came to Wickenburg in 1954.

Surviving are the widow, Ora, of Wickenburg; six sons, Perry of Wickenburg, Plez of Houston, Texas, Joe of Phoenix, Lee of Tucson, Eldard of Cashon and Norman of Welton; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
