MASKIELL, William Charles (Willie)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, July 9, 2003 Willie (William Charles) Maskiell, 12, lost his newest battle on July 5, 2003. Beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend, he will be tremendously missed. Willie was the smallest patient to use the Thoratec Assist Device in 1998. He was an Honorary Tucson Motorcycle Police Officer, which he took seriously, and an avid Harry Potter, Digemon and Pokemon fan. He touched many lives in his short life. Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Bunker's Garden Chapel, also, one hour prior to services. Services will be Friday, July 11, 2003 at 10:00 A.M., Bunker's Garden Chapel. Family requests donations in lieu of flowers to Organ Donor Network, Lymphoma Society, American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
