The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, July 10, 2003 Charles E. Cox was born Feb. 26, 1922 in Plainview, TX. He died July 5, 2003. Charles came to AZ with his parents in 1927. He attended Dysart, Pendergast & Scottsdale. He worked for 47 years in construction as a Supt. & Project Manager. Charles served in the Navy during WWII from 1942-1945. He was honorably discharged with five bronze battle stars. He coached minor, major & senior Little League at Longview School for many years. Charles is survived by his wife Billie Jean, 2 sons Greg & Brian, 3 grandchildren Craig, Jenifer & Bella, and 3 sisters Francis, Edith & Eula. Services have been held.
